With flu season upon us and the symptoms of COVID 19 and the flu being so similar we offer flu testing as an extra precaution.
Self pay rates and CARES ACT claim submission are available for those who qualify. Who should get tested?
Anyone who has been in recent contact with a confirmed case of COVID 19 or experiencing symptoms of COVID 19 should receive a test. If you have tested positive previously it is important to receive on going care and to receive a follow up test to confirm you are negative.
Watch for symptoms
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported, ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever of chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
